9/11 Day of Service Team Leads 2022

                                          
QUICK OVERVIEW
Paid Team Leaders are needed for the 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance.
 
IMPACT
Every year, the 9/11 Foundation honors the victims and rescue workers by creating a day of unity and peace where 1000+ volunteers will pack 250,000+ meals for people experiencing food insecurity.
 
VOLUNTEER ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
You will lead a team of 5-10 Support Staff Volunteers, who might:

• Run the meal packing tables
• Refill ingredients
• Hand out supplies
• Move completed meal boxes
• Register volunteers
• Direct volunteers where to go

REQUIREMENTS

• Must attend both training and day of service
• Must be able to stand for the duration of shift.
• As of now, there are no masking or vaccination requirements, but we may adjust if COVID surges require it.
• Please note the meals may include soy and other food allergens. An allergen-free environment is not guaranteed.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Compensation

• $175
• Free meal at the top of your shift
• L.A. Works t-shirt

Time commitment
Set-Up and Training: Saturday 9/10 9 am – 12 pm 
Day of Service: Sunday 9/11 *either* 7am – 2:30pm or 1pm-6:30pm
