We need the help of community members like yourself to be on-call to respond to and recover when disaster strikes in Greater Los Angeles.
ORGANIZATIONAL OVERVIEW
L.A. Works is on a mission to prepare Los Angeles in case of disaster or emergency, especially as climate change contributes to longer and more frequent droughts, devastating wildfires, and other disasters. 

ENLA represents over 50 nonprofits and government entities working in the space of community welfare and emergency management (mitigation, preparation, response, and recovery). Our forum promotes the “Four C’s” of emergency management -- cooperation, communication, coordination, and collaboration – in order to boost the effectiveness of service providers working with communities affected by the disaster. ​

IMPACT
By joining this network, you will be uplifting the critical work our emergency services sector does when responding to the needs of Los Angeles. Your commitment will add a crucial layer of support for impacted communities, aiding swifter resource distribution and equitable recovery.

• You will have access to join workshops or training to prepare for disaster.
• All skills and abilities are valued to support during, after, and in preparation for disasters.
• Respond to communications from California Volunteers and/or local community-based organizations in affected areas in case of emergency/disaster.
