Transform An Office Into A Free Toy Store for Eaton Fire Survivors
Help the Eaton Fire Collaborative's partner, Neighborhood Survants, transform their office space into a free toy store where youth survivors can make their holiday wishlist come true.

Why: Eaton Fire survivors are entering this season carrying far more than the usual holiday stress. With beloved traditions disrupted, housing transitions still underway, and the anniversary of the fires approaching, these weeks can stir up grief, uncertainty, and emotional fatigue. Volunteers play a key role in organizing holiday donations, stocking shelves, and maintaining cleanliness.
Who: The Survivor Store at the Eaton Fire Collaborative was created to support individuals and families recovering from the 2025 Eaton Fires by providing essential goods and supplies at no cost. These volunteer efforts are led by Neighborhood Survants, which is a nonprofit that encourages youth and community leaders to drive positive change and make a difference.
What to Expect: Volunteers help ensure a smooth and supportive experience for survivors. Duties include:
- Setting up shelves.
- Sorting toys.
- Lifting and unpacking boxes.
- Packing ornaments and gifts.
What's Required:
- A clean shirt, comfortable pants, and closed-toe shoes are required at all times. Avoid ripped or loose clothing, offensive graphics, or open-toe footwear. Dress for the weather and layer as needed. Dress for the weather and layer as needed.
- Long hair should be tied back and no dangling jewelry for safety.
- Minor volunteers 7-18 are welcome but should be accompanied by an adult and a signed L.A. Works' Volunteer Project Minor Waiver. To sign up as a family, please use the "Sign Up With A Team" button below. You can use "[Your Last Name] Household" as both your "Team Name" and "Team Description".
- Bring a collaborative spirit and readiness to pitch in wherever needed.
