Mission Statement Brown Bag Lady is a non-profit rooted in using kindness, food and essentials as a way to improve the lives of others throughout Los Angeles. Vision Collecting basic necessities (clothes, blankets, sleeping bags, tents) and distributing these items throughout the year; Assembling hygiene packs (soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, lip balm, feminine hygiene products, shampoo/conditioner, lotion, socks) and distributing them throughout the year;Homemade warm turkey dinners with all the sides, during the holidays along with Christmas “stockings” (tube socks filled with toiletries); Annual Backpack Drive to collect school supplies, and partnering with an inner city school for distribution to students; and Reuniting foster siblings that have been separated by the system for an unforgettable week of sleep away camp.
