Why: Be a part of Project Ropa's team working diligently to help clients find clothing they'll be proud to wear – clean, stylish, and hand-picked. This level of personalized care may require time and attention, but it is where the real impact happens. It's care that restores hope, and the clients deeply appreciate it.

Who: Project Ropa's approach to serving our clients is deeply rooted in the concept of the intrinsic value and unlimited potential of their lives. Instead of seeing people as problems to be solved. Many of the individuals served by Project Ropa are working to secure employment, improve their health, and maintain stable housing. Project Ropa is there to support them at every step of their journey. 

What to Expect:

• We are looking for passionate volunteers to help distribute clothing and hygiene essentials to those in need.
• Volunteers will work with Project Ropa staff and other volunteers in helping distribute clothing and hygiene essential items to our clients. Volunteers will interact directly with those that receive services from Project Ropa.
• Shifts range from 1 hr to 4 hrs.
• An understanding of Spanish is not necessary but can be helpful when on-site.
• Due to site limitations we limit the number of volunteers to 5 people per hour. Larger groups please contact Project Ropa directly for remote opportunities.
• Volunteers will be standing throughout the shift and handing out items to our clients.
• Our services are rain or shine. 

 What's Required:

• You must be registered and signed up for the shift(s) you want to work prior to volunteering. 
• Must be able to stand for a stretch of time.
• Must be at least 18 years old. 
• Project Ropa requires volunteers to sign liability forms and provide a one-time donation of $25 to volunteer. Upon signup, you will receive a confirmation email with the link.
