Thursday CookFest
QUICK OVERVIEW
Join us for a two-hour cook fest on Thursday afternoons as we prepare delicious and nutritious dishes to serve at our Soup Kitchen and Shower events.
MISSION
St. James Church affirms that all persons are created equal in the eyes of God, deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, and have a full and equal claim to the love, acceptance, and pastoral care of the Church. We, therefore, welcome all people without regard to their race, gender, sexual orientation, or economic or social circumstances. All programs and ministries of St. James’ Church and School are conducted in accordance with this affirmation and this commitment.
IMPACT
With your help, we will be able to provide nutritious home-cooked meals to our unhoused neighbors. We work with donated produce in a large kitchen. We supply all ingredients, supplies, and guidance for recipes. The meals we prepare are served on Fridays, Saturdays, and Tuesdays to over 150 of our unhoused neighbors.
