ORGANIZATIONAL OVERVIEW
L.A. Works is on a mission to connect with over half a million Angelinos on Disaster Preparedness resources and educational information. Spreading awareness and building intimate relationships with community members through canvassing will help us reach that goal.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
L.A. Works needs to connect half a million Angelinos to Disaster Resources! You will be responsible for knocking on doors in Whittier to give and discuss Listos disaster preparedness resources.
You will be given a short presentation on the material you will be handing out, and will then knock on doors in the neighborhood for 1-2 hours.
- Arrive at the correct address and canvass for 1-2 hours
- Comfortable talking to diverse members of the public.
- Good walking shoes!
