Upcycle & Garden at the Arroyo Farm Lab!
QUICK OVERVIEW
With support from California Volunteers, L.A. Works has expanded its capacity to serve organizations addressing climate issues! As part of our Earth Day series, join Eco Urban Gardens for a day of gardening and upcycling projects to benefit the Arroyo Farm Lab at Arroyo High School in El Monte.
MISSION
Eco Urban Gardens is a nonprofit organization that builds healthy and sustainable communities by combating food insecurity through urban agriculture and regenerative living.
IMPACT
The Earth Day efforts at the Arroyo Farm Lab will introduce future students and community members to diverse foods and cultures, as well as establish a local food system to combat food insecurity in our community. The upcycling project efforts will create colorful, sustainable and welcoming spaces for our students and community members.
