2025 Fun Homeless Ice Cream Give a Way Tour
Bring some cold ice cream - a bottle of water-cookies a smile as you joyfully serve our beloved homeless U.S. Vets and other beloved homeless people this 2025 Days Of Service!
Why: The U.S. Vets Homeless Feeding And Housing Services Tour will provide relief to our beloved homeless United States veterans and other disenfranchised beloved homeless people living on the streets of the world-famous Skid Row, CA the homeless capital of the U.S.A. located in World Famous Downtown Los Angeles.CA
Who: Pasadena-Altadena Community Youth Association provides at-risk youth with free sport camps, books and free field trips and a road to do community service.
What to Expect:
- Bring ice cream and cold water bottles and cookies to serve with a smile
- Sort through donations of clean clothing
- Have the opportunity to get to know and network with other members of the World's famous skid row community
- There will be a verbal training at the site
What's Required:
- Have a Joyful Heart
- Bring your ice cream or water bottles or cookies that you will joyfully give away to our beloved homeless peoples
- Proper food handling is of the utmost importance.
- Stay on tasks
- Smile a lot
- First time adult volunteers must bring a photo CA ID or school id or Passport and $30 for background check
- Any volunteer under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult family member/chaperone and must have signed by a parent/guardian a Volunteer Agreement & Release for Minors. The form can be found on the L.A. Works website Q&A section.
