Flip4Good is on the hunt for a creative and compassionate Volunteer Interior Designer to help transform transitional housing into spaces of comfort and inspiration. This role is perfect for someone who understands the profound impact of the environment on well-being and is eager to use their design skills for social good.

We're on a mission to create safe spaces and opportunities that pave the way for long-term success and independence for people in transition periods.  

What's Expected:

• Design and execute interior projects, aligning with Flip4Good's mission and objectives.
• Conduct space assessments to identify design needs and opportunities.
• Create innovative, trauma-informed, cost-effective design solutions tailored to residents' preferences and needs.
• Collaborate with the team and external stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
• Stay informed on design trends and sustainable practices to enhance the quality of designs.
• Commitment to a 3-4 month project timeline, ensuring consistency and focus throughout the design process.

What's Required:

• Degree or significant experience in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Portfolio showcasing residential or similar design projects.
• Skilled in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Passion for social impact and creating positive change through design.
