What's Expected:
Below are the areas and potential roles you would support in your volunteer role:
1. Community Event Organizer: This role involves planning and organizing community events within the school, such as fundraisers, cultural celebrations, or educational workshops. The volunteer will coordinate logistics, engage with local businesses or organizations, and ensure the events are inclusive and enjoyable for students, teachers, and the wider community.
2. Student Initiative Coordinator: In this role, the volunteer will support and empower student-led initiatives within the school. They will work closely with student clubs, organizations, or leadership teams to help plan and execute projects or activities that address community needs or promote positive change.
3. Field Trip Assistant: This role entails assisting teachers with the coordination and management of field trips. Volunteers may help with logistics, such as organizing transportation, ensuring permission slips are collected, and accompanying students on trips to ensure their safety and engagement throughout the experience.
4. Community Outreach Assistant: Volunteers in this role will actively engage with the local community to promote the school's programs, events, and initiatives. They may collaborate with local businesses, community centers, or other organizations to establish partnerships, organize outreach programs, and raise awareness about the school's offerings.5. Site-Level Advisory Board Member: This role involves serving on a site-level advisory board, where volunteers provide input and contribute to decision-making processes that shape the school environment and student experiences. Advisory board members collaborate with school administrators, teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to provide valuable insights and suggestions for improvement.
What's Required:
We require all volunteers who are on-site supporters to be fingerprinted and may undergo a background report.
