Flips Project Coordinator: Design Spaces, Inspire Change
Why: Our Flips are about radically empowering individuals and families in transitional housing by redesigning their living and communal spaces. Leveraging trauma-informed design principles, we create environments that inspire, comfort, and motivate, offering a foundation for healing and growth. You'll work closely with our dedicated team, volunteers, and community partners to ensure each Flips project is a resounding success, transforming spaces and lives. Every Flip is a step towards turning transitional housing into homes filled with hope and dignity, where every corner is thoughtfully crafted to support the residents' journey toward stability and independence.
Who: The mission of Flip4Good is To create safe spaces and opportunities that pave the way for long-term success and independence for people in periods of transition.
- Coordinate with Flip4Good's Design and Programs teams to plan and execute Flips projects, ensuring they meet our high standards of impact and quality.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and volunteers, harmonizing all moving parts.
- Serve as an on-site coordinator during Flips, directing activities and ensuring the project's success.
- Liaise with community partners and suppliers, fostering relationships that enhance our projects and resource base.
- Collect and report feedback from project stakeholders to inform future Flips and continuously improve our processes.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication abilities, comfortable coordinating a diverse team and interacting with community partners.
- Ability to work remotely and have a flexible schedule to be on-site for project execution days.
- Availability to attend remote Program Committee Meetings, ensuring continuous collaboration and alignment with our event planning goals.
- Self-starter able to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
- Passion for Flip4Good's mission and a commitment to positively impacting the lives of those in transitional housing.
- Previous experience in project coordination, event planning, or volunteer management is a plus.
