BrightSpots Event Coordinator: Creating Community + Connection
Why: By volunteering as a BrightSpots Event Coordinator, you will directly contribute to enhancing the well-being and morale of individuals in transitional housing. Your efforts in creating memorable events spotlight the successes of residents and amplify our mission, attracting further support and involvement from the community. You will be at the heart of creating events that inspire, motivate, and celebrate the resilience and achievements of those we serve
Who: The mission of Flip4Good is To create safe spaces and opportunities that pave the way for long-term success and independence for people in periods of transition.
What to Expect:
- Plan and execute BrightSpots events from concept to completion, ensuring they align with Flip4Good's mission and values.
- Coordinate with vendors and partners to secure event necessities while adhering to budget constraints.
- Work closely with our Marketing team to promote events and engage with our community of supporters, volunteers, and donors.
- Collaborate with the Programs team to ensure event logistics seamlessly integrate with our ongoing projects and facility transformations.
- Collect and report feedback from event participants to guide future event improvements and strategies.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with a proven successful event execution track record.
- Creativity, innovation in event planning, and keen attention to detail.
- Availability to attend remote bi-weekly Program Committee Meetings, ensuring continuous collaboration and alignment with our event planning goals.
- Self-starter able to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
- Flexibility to work remotely and availability to be on-site in Los Angeles for event execution.
- Passion for Flip4Good's mission and a commitment to positively impacting the lives of those in transitional housing.
