As a part of the EMPOWER! Youth Series, we are proud of partnering with Step Up Tutoring in bringing this amazing tutoring opportunity.
Why: About 95% of educators say every student can benefit from having a one-on-one mentor. A majority of these educators also say mentoring can improve academic performance. Help us support students across Los Angeles!

What to Expect:

- Watch a presentation that shares more about the program, the students, and what you will be doing as a volunteer.
- Ask questions so you can feel fully prepared to become a Step Up tutor.
- Background Check/Live Scan
- Committing to twice a week virtually, days and times can be flexible
