Help L.A. Works & Infinity Ward in preparing hygiene kits for Veterans for Activison Day of Service in Woodland Hills!

Why: Your volunteer efforts will ensure a succesful day of hosting a hygiene kit building event at Infinity Ward for Community Veteran Justice Project!

Who: In partnership with L.A. Works Corporate Events team and Infinity Ward, join us in providing hygiene kits to Community Veteran Justice Project. A nonprofit that is dedicated to ensuring current and former military service members receive the information, support, and services they need to use California's Veteran Statutes to improve their lives.

• Help unload the L.A. Works project items and set up the various activities.
• Setting up work stations with hygiene kit items.
• Lead volunteers in hygiene kit building.
• Answering volunteer questions about the project instructions.
• Help keep work stations clean by tearing down boxes.
• Walking throughout the event to check on volunteers.
• Replenishing items as they run out.
• Help collect unused items and returning them to boxes.
• Help collect any L.A. Works supplies and packing them back up post-event.
• Ensure volunteers are working safely, efficiently, and are having fun!
• All project leaders will receive training the day of.
• No experience is necessary! Water and light snacks will be provided.

• No experience necessary!
• Adults must be able to lift up to 25lbs (or ask for other tasks by emailing the Opportunity Leader below).
• Be able to stand for 1 to 2 hours at a time.
• Wear comfortable clothes and close-toed shoes that you can move in and don’t mind getting dirty.
• We also suggest layering clothing for sun protection, a hat, and sunscreen.
• Volunteers MUST be vaccinated against COVID-19.
