Beautification day at a High School in El Monte
Join us for an exciting volunteer event at a High School in El Monte, where we’ll be beautifying the campus.
Why: Together, we can make a difference! By participating in this event, you’ll help beautify the school grounds and foster a sense of environmental stewardship. This is a fantastic chance to connect with fellow community members and contribute to a meaningful cause.
Who: The mission of Breathe SoCal is Promoting Clean Air and Healthy Lungs through Research, Education and Technologyco and Urban Gardens mission is to combat food insecurity through urban agriculture and regenerative living.What to Expect:
This hands-on activity offers a wonderful opportunity to support the local ecosystem while creating a greener, more inviting space for students and the community.
- Volunteers will be assisting with planting native shrubs, weeding, composting and more!
- Let’s dig in and make a positive impact!
- All ages are welcome, and no prior experience is necessary—just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to help!
- Please don’t forget to wear closed-toe shoes.
