Make Cards for Senior Citizens - Easy and Fun Kids or Adults - Joy Card Project

Volunteer with Joy Card Project to make cheerful cards for senior citizens in nursing homes or assisted living facilities!

Why: Many seniors living in senior care center can feel loneliness and isolation. Every card you make matters and makes a huge impact to bring them joy! Remember: Small gestures make a big impact in a senior's life. 

Who: Joy Card Project's mission is to provide cards of joy to seniors who may need some cheer. Fighting loneliness and depression, one Joy Card at a time.

What to Expect: 

• It’s very simple. You make cheerful cards for senior citizens at home/work and deliver the Joy Cards to any local senior citizen facility (ex. senior assisted living, nursing care,  memory care etc.)
• Make 1 Joy Card or 100 Joy Cards- Every card you make matters and makes a huge impact! Remember: Small gestures make a big impact in a seniors life. 
• Required: You MUST email photos of Joy Cards and delivery. (1-3 photos only of all the cards)
• Earn volunteer service hours! 3 cards = 1 hour of service; each delivery = 2 hours of service. Photo verification of cards and delivery is required.

Who can volunteer: 

• Anyone, any age, any country, any language!  International voluteers are welcome!  If you live outside of the U.S., we can help you get started.

What's Required: 

• Time committment is flexible and no end date. WORK FROM HOME TO EARN SRVICE HOURS. 
• Make the cards when you have time FROM HOME and deliver to a senior citizen facility of your choice.  
• Take photos of the cards and delivery. Keeping track of Joy Card Project's impact in the senior community is important to us.
