Support Youth Affected by Fires Fun Zone Reading Club 4 Homeless-Low income Kids
You Joyfully read out loud to homeless-Low income kids and then give out candy or treat prizes to kids, that you the joyful volunteer brings.
Why: Our reading service learning club commitment is to help increase the number of homeless-Low income kids who get free books to read and reward them who participate and give us thier reading log, Following the Eaton Fire, we are now meeting the needs of affected homeless - low income kids who are from Altadena and Pasadena.
Who: The mission of Pasadena-Altadena Community Youth Association is to provide at-risk youth with free sport camps, books and free field trips and a road to do community service. Fun Zone Reading Club 4 Homeless -Low-income Kids is a reading merit service learning club that recruits joyful volunteers to promote the joy of reading to kids that live in Urban Los Angeles County.
- This Season your volunteer efforts contribute to the joy and inspire kids to read books, Every time a volunteer joyfully read out loud to kids it contributes to relieving those kids of the stress of reading
- Stay on task,
- smile a lot,
- bring candy or treats to joyfully give out
- 21 and over
- First time adult volunteers must bring a photo CA ID or school id or Passport and $30 for background check
- Safety protocol and handling of kids and candy is of the utmost importance while joyfully serving
- We start on time!
