Wildfire Resource Distribution Support at Resource Hub

Help national, state, and local agencies provide crucial information and resources to those impacted by the wildfires.

Why: Those impacted by this disaster – especially our most vulnerable residents – need our support more than ever. Nearly 17,000 structures have been destroyed and roughly tens of thousands people have been forced from their homes. Officials have said the true death toll is not known as the fires continue to destroy neighborhoods.

Who: The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. They are committed to accommodating all those in need in accordance with their capacity to help.

What to Expect: Volunteer will be supporting the organizers of this Wildfire Resource Hub in the following ways:
• Support Care Floaters
• Supply Giveaway/Handouts
• Client assistance
• Other duties as assigned (please note that due to the nature of this disaster, volunteer roles may shift. We appreciate your flexibility & patience)
