Customer-Service & Data Entry Volunteers Needed to Assist LA Fires Survivors
The week-long Wildfires Resource Hub in Pasadena needs committed, compassionate volunteers to help those impacted by the fires in LA. Our kind hearted helpers will serve as needed on the floor and at our outdoor registration area in a busy environment as survivors prepare to enter the Resource Hub and access resources from our dedicated partners.
Why: Our helpers will volunteer to assist those impacted by the fires by supporting needs as they arise.
Who: Hope Crisis Response Network will be leading volunteers. The mission of HCRN is to serve families, individuals and communities impacted by disaster. HCRN is working in partnership with ENLA, California VOAD and national, state and local community-based organizations on this project.
What to Expect: Volunteer helpers are needed to be flexible with their assignments as needs change and as foot traffic flow changes. Our helpers will volunteer to assist those impacted as elevator monitors, line guides, and assisting with data entry, registration, food delivery on site, maintaining snack areas, etc.
What’s Required:- Commitment to serving on the day and time that you sign up for
- Be customer service focused (kindness and patience) and able to maintain confidentiality
- Compassionate & willing to shift tasks as needed based on foot traffic flow
- Wear comfortable clothing including long pants and closed toe shoes
