Volunteer with Little Free Library to celebrate Good Deeds Day by sharing a book and a kind note in one of our libraries near you!
Why: Expand book access in your community while joining millions of volunteers in 115 countries doing good.
Who: Little Free Library's mission is to be a catalyst for building community, inspiring readers, and expanding book access for all through a global network of volunteer-led Little Free Library book-exchange boxes.
What to Expect:
- Find a Little Free Library near you.
- Choose a book to put in the Little Free Library.
- Write a kind note to the future reader and put it inside the book.
- Leave the book in the Little Free Library on April 6 and take a photo.
- After you’re done, tell us how it went and share your pictures. Submit an impact form after Good Deeds Day telling us about your experience, and you will have a chance to win a bundle of free books.
What's Required:
- Register on our website
- A parent/guardian will need to complete a waiver for youth volunteers under the age of 18.
