YMCA Boyle Heights Food Distribution Support
We are so grateful that you are interested in supporting the Y, while our communities navigate this challenging time.
Why: The YMCA extends a helping hand to the community by offering food distribution every Monday and Wednesday. This initiative serves to provide essential support to individuals and families in need, ensuring access to nutritious meals. We invite all community members to take advantage of this service and spread awareness to those who may benefit.
Who: Everyone belongs at the Y. The YMCA is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
What to Expect: We are looking for volunteers to come and help distribute food to community members. Numerous dates are available.
What’s Required:- Volunteers ages 16 and 17 must provide parent/guardian approval (signature) prior to volunteering.
- Volunteers ages 13-15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times while volunteering as well as provide parent/guardian approval (signature) prior to volunteering.
- Follow the Sign Up link below to select shift dates on the YMCA Signup page. You will click the shift you would like to help with and then Register through their system.
