Volunteer At The Mid City Arts & Music Festival!

Volunteer with Rediscover Center to help inspire young minds through art, play, and imagination while supporting a fun, family-friendly event!  

Why: Volunteers will support Rediscover staff in the expansive KidsZone, where hands-on crafting, play, and imaginative activities will be the focus throughout a full day of creativity and activation.

Who: Rediscover Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing youth and adults with the tools and skills to transform discarded materials into art and functional objects.

• Volunteer responsibilities include setting up and breaking down the space, preparing materials, monitoring the area for safety, and providing assistance to both staff and participants as needed for art demonstrations.
• We have three volunteer shifts available throughout the day, each lasting around 3 hours.

• Ages 14 & under – Must be supervised by an adult.
• Ages 14-17 – Can volunteer with a signed liability waiver from a parent/guardian.
• Ages 18  – Waiver required.
• No prior experience with families or youth is necessary but an enjoyment of community festivals, a willingness to help out, and a love for art & education will go a long way in this role!
• ​You can also recieve community service or school hours, if needed, for this volunteer opportunity.
