Saturday! Safely Clean and Repair a Home Impacted by the Palisades Fire

Like cleaning? Care about those impacted by the fires? Join the Hope Crisis Response Network to help clean a family's home that was damaged in the recent wildfires. 

Why: You will be helping a family clean their home from smoke damage from the Eaton Fire. We are helping families clean who do not have insurance money to cover the cost of their home clean up.

Who: The Hope Crisis Response Network's aims to serve families, individuals and communities impacted by disaster.

• Training is provided before each shift.  All necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided on site.
• Follow directions from our Volunteer Coordinator to make sure the work is completed safely and thoroughly.
• Volunteers will be cleaning by shampooing carpets, cleaning walls, wiping things down, possibly power washing exterior surfaces and other needs. Many hands make light work!
• Breaks, water and lunch will be provided, although if you have dietary restrictions please bring your own food.

• We will provide all the PPE and all cleaning supplies and tools. Wear provided PPE while volunteering (masks, gloves, gowns and goggles, respirators if needed).
• Wear close-toed shoes and clothes you're willing to get dirty.
• Willing to clean and wash materials around damaged home.
• You are welcome to join us even if you can't stay all day.
• No prior experience necessary!
