Tutor Underserved Children "Help a Child Learn"
Tutor elementary and high school students to help them catch up with reading, math and other core courses, and improve grades and test scores.

Why: Many children are behind by two years in reading and math, who improve with tutoring assistance. Your efforts to Tutor and Mentor underserved children gives them one-on-one assistance with homework in core courses to help them catch up, grasp learning concepts and improve their confidence, grades and test scores.
Who: Joseph Learning Lab's mission is to close the learning gap, reduce the dropout rate, and develop underserved students of all ages and diverse backgrounds by allowing them an equal opportunity for learning and personal growth
What to Expect:- Volunteers are needed to tutor underserved children virtually with homework in Reading, Math or other core courses
- Commitment to tutor between 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm for 90-minutes, for about two days a week for the entire school year.
- Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
- Volunteers should have education and skills working with children in elementary or high school level.
- Be available for one hour orientation/training.
- An application/background check is done.
