Winter Bloom Volunteer
Celebrate Altadena's strength and spirit at the first Winter Bloom Market & Gathering.
Why: After a year of unimaginable losses due to the Eaton fire, it is more important than ever to celebrate the beautiful and diverse community that is our beloved Altadena. The holidays will be an especially difficult time for fire survivors, remembering what they have lost and the inability to be in their homes during this special time. We need a lot of volunteers to help support this free community event to bring people together during the holidays in the most heartfelt of ways.
Who: Altagether is a group of organizers and Altadena residents working to help neighbors connect with each other to navigate all steps of the post-wildfire process, keep residents in Altadena, and work together for collective recovery.
What to Expect: Shifts are Friday, November 28th (for set up), Saturday, November 29th (for set up and helping at the event), and Sunday, November 30th (for helping at the event and cleanup/breakdown).
Potential volunteer opportunites include:- Installing Decorations
- General Event Help
- Welcome Table/Guest Assistance
- Running a Crafting Workshop
- Parking Assistance
- Ornaments for Altadena distribution
- Event Photography/Videography
- Running Raffle
- Specialized skill (sound management, equipment setup, lighting etc): please add detail under "Other"
