DOVIA-LA January 2026 Meeting

Hosted By: DOVIA-LA (Directors of Volunteers in Agencies – Los Angeles) is a professional membership association for individuals who lead, manage, and recruit volunteers for a diverse range of nonprofit organizations. DOVIA-LA members meet bi-monthly to network, build skills, and learn about current issues in the field of volunteer management. DOVIA-LA is a program of L.A. Works.

• Gather with the DOVIA-LA Community for a workshop focusing on what our community has to offer for 2026. 
  • The Year of the Volunteer 
  • Communications focus with guest speakers - topics and speakers to be announced.
  • Conversations and networking focused on local volunteer programs.
• This and all regular DOVIA-LA Meetings are planned to accomodate everyone by being offered HYBRID. We recommend attending in person for the best experience.
• During this meeting, volunteer engagement professionals will have opportunities to engage with one another in group discussions and we will take time for community support and to hear from members looking to learn about experience with an issue or resource need. 

• Location: The event will take place IN PERSON and virtually on Zoom.
  • In Person Meeting Location: Children's Institute- Watts Campus. (10200 S. Success Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90002)
• Registration Required
  • DOVIA-LA Meetings are free for members.
  • You do not need to be a DOVIA-LA member to attend this meeting.
