Palisades Fire: Flag Presentation and Remembrance Ceremony
Join us in commemorating the lost lives of the Palisades Fire & supporting fire survivors.
Why: The “White Glove Flag Presentation and Remembrance Ceremony” will bring together community members, civic leaders, and recovery partners in remembrance, gratitude, and unity. The program will commemorate the twelve Palisadians who lost their lives and pay tribute to the countless individuals and groups who are helping the community recover and rebuild. By volunteering at this event you are directly supporting fire survivors as they mark one year since the devastating fires.
Who: Pali LTRG and Palisades American Legion Post 283 invite the Palisades community to join a special morning of observance to mark one year since the January 7 Palisades Fire.
What to Expect: Volunteers may be expected to do any of the following:- Assist with set up for the Ceremony
- Check in media, vendors, VIP and other atendees.
- Assist attendees with answer to quetsions about the event
- Assist with meal set up inside and outside
- Breakdown and clean up after the event
- Other duties as assigned day of
- Event Date: January 7, 2026 - 8:00am-1:00pm
Event Address: 15247 La Cruz Drive, Pacific Palisades, CA 90272
Location: Palisades American Legion Post 283
- January 7, 7:30-11:30 AM Set up and various event postitions
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 25–50 lbs, Some positions requre the ability to stand for long periods of time
- Dress Code: Closed-toe shoes, pants, and a neutral t-shirt
- Much of the event is outdoors. Please remember a hat/sungalsses and/or sunscreen.
