Ace of Hearts Adoption and Fundraising Event

Adoption and Fundrasing Event Saturday, March 28th at the Petco in West Hollywood 1-6 PM.

Why: You'll be assisting an adoption event (weather permitting) that not only gets more attention for pups in need of good homes, but also getting food, supplies, and even medication to our foster pups. You will also be raising money for the rescue which will go towards veterinary bills - we have a lot of animals in need of love and medical care!

Who: Ace of Hearts is a 501c-3 dog rescue foundation dedicated to rescuing dogs, the day they are to be euthanized, from various Los Angeles shelters and placing them in loving homes. We do NOT take dogs in ... we rescue only from shelters. The Ace of Hearts Foundation is in memory of "Ace", a wonderful American Bull dog who was rescued from death, and touched the lives of many! (Especially founder Kari Whitman!) We rescue all breeds...and don't discriminate against any!

• Setting up and tearing down the event
• Preparing packages of supplies for each foster pup
• Raising donations for medical procedures and dog supplies
• Caring for the pups in their kennels and making sure they're content during their stay
• Interacting with potential adopters and guests

• 18 years of age, or a guardian who is old enough to sign the volunteer waiver on your behalf and provide supervision
• You can sign up for a shift of 1-3pm or 3-6pm, there are two listings up please sign up for the time frame you would prefer! you can also stay the whole time if you would like.
