Back-to-School Fair Volunteers Needed with St. Francis Center!
This is an eligible Daisy Chain Reaction volunteer opportunity. Volunteers who are 18 years of age or older and who opt in during registration for the promotion running between July 22, 2026 at 7:00 AM PST and August 20, 2026 at 7:00 PM PST may participate in a giveaway for a chance to win two (2) GA tickets to Daisy Chain Fields 2026. Participation in the giveaway is completely optional, and you are welcome to volunteer whether or not you choose to enter. See the Official Rules for complete eligibility requirements and terms.
Why: Back-to-School Fair Volunteers Needed! Help local students start the school year with confidence. Volunteers will assist with event setup, welcoming families, distributing school supplies, and helping ensure a fun and organized experience for all.
Who: Since 1972, St. Francis Center has provided relief and support to homeless and extremely low-income individuals and families in Los Angeles. Much more than a soup kitchen or a food pantry, we offer a unique range of services to sustain and empower those in need. Welcoming all with joy, dignity and compassion, we dedicate ourselves every day to Serving Hope in our community.
What to Expect: Volunteers will assist with- Event setup
- Welcoming families
- Distributing school supplies
- Helping ensure a fun and organized experience for all.
- Closed toed shoes
- Filling out the volunteer form (this will be in your confirmation email)
- No experience necessary- just a positive attitude and a willingness to help!
