Project Leaders: Support the Riverfest Celebration!
Friends of the Los Angeles River is hosting our fifth annual RiverFest: a free, open-air festival where artists, musicians, and communities come together to celebrate and be inspired by the LA River. Their fifth annual RiverFest will feature a variety of local artists with thrilling live performances, a bustling marketplace with local vendors, and nonprofit exhibitors highlighting their work. They will also have some interactive eco-activities for the whole family and delicious food from some of L.A.'s best food trucks. So grab your favorite Angelenos and come celebrate with us!
Why: We’re looking for project leaders to support everything from setup and check-in to booth support and cleanup. It’s a great way to be part of the action, meet fellow River lovers, and help create a welcoming, joyful event for the whole community. No experience necessary, just bring your energy and we’ll show you the rest.
Who: Friends of the Los Angeles River aims to build capacity for communities, students, and future leaders to advocate for nature, climate and equity on the LA River.
