- Participants will:
- Gain understanding about how a volunteer center works in disaster and learn the roles of community partners, local organizations and volunteers in disaster response.
- Learn practical steps leaders of volunteers can take to prepare before an emergency occurs and create a simple next-step action plan to strengthen preparedness within your own community or organization.
- This meeting will be offered in a hybrid setting; members may choose to attend virtually or in-person. We recommend attending in person for the best experience.
