Project Leaders: Barnsdall Art Park Fire Mitigation for 9/11 Day
Become a project leader to support this national day of service as L.A. Works shows their gratitude to our local outdoor spaces! September 11th is a National Day of Service and Remembrance as we honor those who lost their lives in the attack against our country in 2001 and pay tribute to the thousands of heroes who rose in service. Join L.A. Works at this Day of Service event as we support our local fire safety initiatives at Barnsdall Art Park!
Why: Support Barnsdall Art Park with L.A. Works at this Day of Service event and help clear high fire risk brush to protect our city's only UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Who: The Barnsdall Art Park Foundation ensures the park remains a vibrant, inclusive space for creativity, cultural expression, civic conversation, and social empowerment. Beyond beautification, this brush clearing event is also a fire safety mission!
