School Daze Scuffle: Eighth Period Junior Roller Derby Tournament
Join Los Anarchists Junior Derby as we host our annual School Daze Scuffle junior roller derby tournament.
Why: Competitive junior roller derby develops young people into successful adults. They are taught to set goals, persevere through challenges, and serve their community.
Who: Los Anarchists Junior Derby provides opportunities for youth ages 5 to 18 of all genders and skill levels to learn and compete in the sport of roller derby. Our mission is to build character, confidence, and strength, helping strong young people grow into powerful individuals through safe, supportive, and inclusive gameplay.
What to Expect: Volunteers will assist with- Food preparation & food service
- Admissions
- Skater check-in
- Volunteer check-in
- Merch sales
- Customer service
- Light maintenance (trash collection, sweeping, track tape repair)
- Set up & clean up
- Volunteers will be provided meals
- Some positions allow sitting, some require standing and ambulation.
- Volunteer abilities will be accomodated.
