FAVE October 2026: Make trick-or-treat bags with One Incredible Family
Join FAVE for our October 2026 Event as we get into the Halloween Spirit with One Incredible Family!
Why: Making sure that marginalized people, especially children, are seen and supported is important. While trick-or-treat bags may seem like a small gesture, they create a connection and lets recipients have a fun-filled Halloween. Through this initiative, we will create a happy Halloween for 4,000 recipients!
Who: One Incredible Family Inc. serves seniors, unhoused, and children who are at-risk, disenfranchised, developmentally-disabled, teen runaways, and those who lives have been impacted by HIV/AIDS. They focus on spreading holiday cheer and so we will be supporting their Halloween effort by making 4,000 fun trick-or-treat bags to be given to more than 30 non-profits and shelters across Los Angeles.
What to Expect:
- Kick off the day with intention with One Incredible Family Inc.
- Decorate and stuff trick-or-treat bags and organize them into boxes to be delivered to organizations around Los Angeles.
- Take part in the provided pizza lunch and get to know the awesome team at One Incredible Family Inc. and meet other volunteers.
- Have fun and feel good about being a part of supporting non-profits all across Los Angeles!
What's Required:
- Engage in the spirit of fun in making trick-or-treat bags!
- Dress in comfortable clothing--dress in layers with closed-toe shoes as we will be outside under shady tents
- Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent and sign a waiver onsite.
- A refillable water bottle to keep hydrated!
