Support the Annual Día de los Muertos Festival!
El Sereno Community Arts’ 17th Annual Día de los Muertos Festival is a free, family-friendly celebration of culture, art, and community - taking place on October 17, 2026 at El Sereno Park. The festival brings together local artists, musicians, schools, families, small businesses, community organizations, and residents through live performances, community altars, art activities, vendors, food, and cultural programming.
Why: El Sereno Community Arts believes art heals, connects, and belongs to everyone. That’s why we partner with Latine, immigrant, and LGBTQ+ organizations to uplift artists and celebrate community stories. This festival beneifts El Sereno and Northeast Los Angeles residents, particularly families, youth, seniors, artists, and underserved community members who may face barriers to accessing arts and cultural experiences.
Who: El Sereno Community Arts has uplifted Latine heritage through the arts, mental health, and storytelling. Rooted in El Sereno and reaching neighboring communities, they celebrate culture while addressing community well-being. From vibrant workshops to public art projects, our programs honor tradition, provide creative outlets for all ages, and create meaningful job opportunities in the arts. Volunteers are essential to creating a welcoming, safe, and successful festival.
