Girls Meet the Workforce Celebration
This is an eligible Daisy Chain Reaction volunteer opportunity. Volunteers who are 18 years of age or older and who opt in during registration for the promotion running between July 22, 2026 at 7:00 AM PST and August 20, 2026 at 7:00 PM PST may participate in a giveaway for a chance to win two (2) GA tickets to Daisy Chain Fields 2026. Participation in the giveaway is completely optional, and you are welcome to volunteer whether or not you choose to enter. See the Official Rules for complete eligibility requirements and terms.
Help create a memorable celebration for Girls Inc. participants as they connect with mentors, industry professionals, and supporters.
Why: As a volunteer, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming, organized, and inspiring experience that celebrates our girls' achievements and the community that helps make their success possible.
Who: Girls Inc. of Orange County works with girls kindergarten through college with proven “girl-focused” programs. We offer programs in partnership with school districts serving elementary, middle, and high school sites, in conjunction with other youth serving organizations, at family resource centers, college campuses, and at our Girls Inc. center in Santa Ana.
What to Expect:- Welcoming and greeting guests as they arrive
- Supporting event registration and check-in
- Providing directional assistance throughout the venue
- Capturing event photos and memorable moments
- Helping facilitate conversations between mentors, mentees, and guests
- Creating a warm, positive, and engaging experience for all attendees
- A friendly, welcoming attitude
- Reliability and punctuality
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Enthusiasm for supporting girls on their path to college and career success
- Ability to stand and move throughout the event as needed
