Material Prep Day – Girl Scouts of Orange County- DCR
Help prepare materials that power life-changing Girl Scout experiences!
This is an eligible Daisy Chain Reaction volunteer opportunity. Volunteers who are 18 years of age or older and who opt in during registration for the promotion running between July 22, 2026 at 7:00 AM PST and August 20, 2026 at 7:00 PM PST may participate in a giveaway for a chance to win two (2) GA tickets to Daisy Chain Fields 2026. Participation in the giveaway is completely optional, and you are welcome to volunteer whether or not you choose to enter. See the Official Rules for complete eligibility requirements and terms.
Why: Every badge earned, leadership activity completed, and community service project begins with thoughtful preparation. By helping assemble and organize program materials, you'll support experiences that build girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.
Who: Girl Scouts of Orange County serves thousands of girls across Orange County through leadership development, STEM, entrepreneurship, outdoor adventures, and life skills programming. Volunteers help make these opportunities possible by supporting behind-the-scenes efforts that keep our programs running smoothly.
What to Expect:- Help organize, assemble, and prepare supplies used for upcoming Girl Scout programs, community events, and activities to help grow membership
- Sort, label, and prepare items for upcoming Girl Scout activities
- Work alongside GSOC staff in a collaborative environment
- Make a meaningful impact through hands-on service
- A can-do spirit!
- Reliability and punctuality
- Ability to organize and complete light assembly tasks
- Ability to stand or sit for portions of the shift
