Volunteer Managers Appreciation Celebration!

Join DOVIA-LA in-person to celebrate International Volunteer Manager Day on November 5th! 




Hosted By: DOVIA-LA (Directors of Volunteers in Agencies – Los Angeles) is a professional membership association for individuals who lead, manage, and recruit volunteers for a diverse range of nonprofit organizations. DOVIA-LA members meet bi-monthly to network, build skills, and learn about current issues in the field of volunteer management. DOVIA-LA is a program of L.A. Works.

• November 5th is International Volunteer Managers Day. This year the theme is Legacy and Leadership: Honoring the past, present and future.
• Volunteer engagement professionals work HARD! This event celebrates our local volunteer managers for the work they put in and allows for unstructured networking and connection time through game play.
• We plan to: 
  • Celebrate International Volunteer Mangers Day through positive reflections & year in review
  • Recognize our Advisory Committee: Thank outgoing members & welcome new cohort
  • Give end of year updates & look ahead
  • Play games and connect

• During this meeting, volunteer engagement professionals will have opportunities to engage with one another in discussions and network together.

• Location: The event will take place in-person only.
  • In Person Meeting Location: 570 W Ave 26, Los Angeles, CA 90065
  • Room Location: Sierra Madre Room
  • NOTE: This room is located on the 2nd floor where an elevator is available. If you will need an elevator, please let us know in advance if you can.
• Registration Required:
  • This event is free for DOVIA-LA members. 
  • You do not need to be a DOVIA-LA member to attend this event.
